a charming sheraton period mahogany work / reading table. standing on four elegant square tapering legs with cross stretcher. the work bag, covered in gold fabric, slides out to one side, at the other is an oak lined drawer with section for pens etc.the cross banded top with book rest can be raised to various angles. inlay detail to the legs, stretcher, drawer edges and top.
in fine original condition, this really is a very high quality piece.
