Description
Very handsome oak Arts & Crafts sideboard by A Gardner & Son, Jamaica Street, Glasgow.The top with turned column upright supports has ornate carved central panel and shelf with shaped bevel edged mirror and further shelf below. The base has two large frieze drawers with ornate handles and back plates, three cupboards below, fabulous carved panel to the central cupboard and lovely ornate large strap hinges to the flanking cupboards, raised on square feet.
With normal minimal marks / scuffs, overall this wonderful sideboard is in very good, sound condition by a maker known for their fine quality craftmanship and is not done justice by the photographs.
