Description
Fabulous 17th century oak refectory table.The detachable planked top is held in place with three wooden pegs, shaped apron and raised on turned legs united by stretchers, there is a date carved to the inside of the apron of 1690.
With expected signs of wear and tear and general use commensurate with a piece of furniture of such immense age, overall this wonderful table has a lovely colour and patina, it is full of character and is a really lovely piece of functional furniture.
