super quality oak bureau.the fall front with applied decorative mouldings which when opened, operates a mechanism which slides the well fitted interior to the front of the tooled leather writing surface.
the three serpentine fronted drawers below with substantial brass drop handles, carved shaped apron and raised on turned legs united by cross stretchers.
with minor marks / scuffs commensurate with age, this wonderful bureau is very solidly constructed and in overall good clean condition.
