charming mahogany duchess dressing table of neat proportions.
the top with arched mirror in decorative carved supports, spindle gallery back flanked either side by two small drawers, the base with frieze drawer and decorative carved scroll supports.

Dutch strike clock
Dutch strike clock ( staartklok ).
the arched hood with figure of Atlas flanked by trumpeting females and painted dial depicting pastoral scenes, the shaped slide down case with pendulum aperture, brass weights and chain.
the 30 hour chain driven movement strikes the hour and the half hour on a bell and also has an alarm mechanism.
the movement has been overhauled but the face and case remain in original condition and have signs of wear and tear commensurate with age .

early georgian inlaid walnut chest of drawers
wonderful early georgian walnut chest of drawers comprising of two short over three long oak lined drawers with boxwood and ebony stringing inlay to the fronts, original brass handles and decorative escutcheon plates and standing on bracket feet.
as one would expect with a piece of such age there are some areas of wear and tear to the top and old repairs but nothing to detract from the quality of this fabulous little chest and overall it is in good solid condition with a super colour and patina.

charming early oak stool by Robert 'mousey' Thompson of Kilburn, North Yorkshire.
the slightly dished adzed top raised on octagonal shaped legs united by stretchers, one leg with the trademark carved mouse signifying " industry in quiet places ".

arched hood with brass finials, beautifully simple painted face with gilded floral decorations, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture.

early oak court cupboard
early 18th century oak court cupboard of small proportions.
the top section with carved frieze above panelled cupboard door flanked by bulbous turned pillars, the base with two panelled doors and panelled sides, standing on stile feet.
with a very pleasing colour and patina, this super court cupboard is a very handsome piece, it has marks, scuffs etc as one would expect with furniture of such age, and also as is very common in early oak pieces, there has been some errosion to the back panels and feet due to woodworm but this is long dead and only adds to the character and history of this wonderful cupboard.

early oak moon phase grandfather clock
a fine example of an early oak longcase clock by Geo Goodall, Abberford.
Geo Goodall was one of few clockmakers who numbered their work, this being no. 426 dates to circa 1780.
the hood with broken arch pediment, dentil moulding and tapering column supports, the arched door opening to brass face with moon phase, silvered dial, working date aperture and subsidiary seconds dial.
the case with mahogany crossbanded door and panel below, raised on bracket feet.
the eight day movement striking the hour on a bell.

the crossbanded top over two short and three long inlaid drawers with brass handles / plates and escutcheons, raised on shaped bracket feet.
this charming chest of drawers has a very pleasing colour and patina, it has normal marks and scuffs as one would expect with a piece of such age and a couple of veneer repairs sympathetically done but overall this is a lovely quality chest in good sound condition and is really not done justice in the photographs.

the top with stepped cornice and frieze drawer above crossbanded fall front which opens to reveal wonderful interior fitted with inlaid drawers, pigeon holes and secret compartments, the base with three long oak lined inlaid drawers and standing on bracket feet.
some age shrinkage and old repairs, the normal things one would expect with a piece of such immense age but overall this absolutely stunning escritoire is in remarkably good, sound condition, it really is the most striking piece of furniture and is not done justice by the photographs.
